What Photos should I provide for my pet commission?
It’s best to supply several clear, well-lit photos that show your pet’s face, unique features, and true eye color. I normally paint head shots only.
The more reference images you provide, the better I can capture your pet’s personality. I’ll help you choose the best one. I will need to approve one of your photos in order for me to go ahead with the commission.
How long does it take to complete a pet portrait?
A custom A4 pastel pet portrait typically takes about 1–6 weeks.
What quality and style can I expect?
Each portrait is hand-painted in Pastel with attention to detail, ensuring a keepsake that reflects your pet's spirit and personality. See my gallery of commissioned works.
What about framing and delivery?
Unless requested each portrait will be framed in a timber painted frame. An example of the frames I use can be provided on request. There is a choice of Pine Colour, White or Black. Delivery will be calculated when ordered.

When you're ready to order your custom pet portrait, simply fill the form to discuss the details. A 30% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm your order, with the remaining balance due upon completion before dispatched. Once the deposit is received, your order is secured, and the creative process begins.

STEP 1: ENQUIRE
Simply send me a high-quality photo of your beloved pet, along with your preferred size and any specific preferences you have in mind. Once I receive these details and we agree on the photo, I'll provide you with a customized quote for your pet portrait.
STEP 2: QUOTE & DEPOSIT
Once you are satisfied with Step 1 and all the details we've discussed, the next stage involves securing your commission with a 30% non-refundable deposit. This deposit is essential to cover the costs of materials and the time invested in the initial stages of your pet portrait creation.
STEP 3: COMPLETION
Once the artwork is completed, I will send you high-resolution photos and a video for your final approval. When you are delighted with your painting, you can make the final payment. Afterward, your painting will be carefully packaged and sent to you via courier for you to cherish.
